The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology welcomed its new cohort of Postgraduate Trainees and Fellows at an Orientation and Induction Ceremony attended by the Executive Director, Heads of Departments, supervisors and faculty. The Medical Superintendent, Dr Qurban Hussain Khan, led the trainees in taking the RIC Oath, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to professionalism, continuous learning, teamwork and compassionate patient care. We wish all our newly inducted trainees a successful and rewarding journey at RIC.

RIC Inaugurates Special Lawyers’ Facilitation Desk

The Special Lawyers’ Facilitation Desk was formally inaugurated at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology in the presence of the President, Secretaries and senior office-bearers of the High Court Bar Association, Rawalpindi.
RIC also issued a formal notification for medical entitlement cards for members of the Association, enabling them to receive medical facilities equivalent to those available to government officers in BS-17 and BS-18.
Dr Qurban Hussain Khan, Medical Superintendent, RIC, welcomed the HCBA delegation and was closely involved in taking the initiative forward. The dedicated desk provides members of the legal community with a clear point of contact and facilitates timely, coordinated and respectful access to cardiac services at RIC.
The initiative reflects RIC’s commitment to patient facilitation, responsive institutional leadership and constructive engagement with professional communities.
